The Guest Bedrooms
|
Olwen has created an extraordinary place to stay. Every
room astonishes; They are fantasies centred round large, ornate beds,
sometimes four-poster, sometimes king-size. One room is like a flower
garden, another like a cool forest; the next features a regal -style bed
with a velvet crown supported on a wine coloured velvet draped frame,
the deep burgundies, pink and reds refreshed by real lilacs.
You have to see them to believe them. One room has over
400 yards of material in its draperies. Olwen is enormously enthusiastic
about the house and shows great daring in her designs. |
